Family concerned for missing boy, 16, last seen more than two weeks ago

Police have issued an appeal for help to find a missing boy who was last seen more than two weeks ago.

Samuel Johnson is missing from the Blackley area. The 16-year-old was last seen at around 3.30pm on July 16, police said.

Officers believe he is in the local area. They said 'his family are concerned for him'. Samuel is described as being a black male, who is around 5ft 9in tall and of slim build. He has black braids and wears glasses with black frames.

Police shared a picture of Samuel as part of an appeal to find him. A post on the GMP Manchester North Facebook page said: "Samuel Johnson aged 16 years, he was last seen at 15:30 hours 16th July, missing from Blackley area. He is believed to be in the local area and his family are concerned for him.

"He is described as young black male, 5ft9,slim build, black braids, wears glasses with black frames. Please call PC FRAME, 07393 781595 or PC McNEILL, 07584 224903 if you have any information regarding his whereabouts."
