FAI Cup: St Pat's beat Shamrock Rovers, Bohs trash Longford Town

Teenager Sam Rooney has sent St Pat's into the quarter-finals of the Club Orange FAI Cup.

He scored an extra-time winner as the Saints came back from 2-0 down to win 3-2 against Shamrock Rovers.

The holders built a two-goal half-time advantage at Richmond Park thanks to goals from Jonathan Afolabi and Michael Noonan.

Luke Turner pulled one back for Pat's before Aidan Keena's injury-time penalty sent the game to an additional 30 minutes.

Colm Whelan scored twice as Bohemians won 4-0 against Longford Town.
