Fagrie Lakay departs CT City to join Egyptian outfit Pyramids FC

Cape Town City have confirmed the permanent departure of Fagrie Lakay to Egyptian Premier League outfit Pyramids FC.

"Cape Town City and Pyramids FC have agreed to terms over the transfer of South African international Fagrie Lakay," the club revealed on Twitter.

"Lakay joins Percy Tau and Pitso Mosimane, flying the South African flag in the Egyptian Premier League."

The 24-year-old inked a deal until 2024 and will jump straight into work as the Pyramids, who are in third position behind Zamalek and Al Ahly, aim to keep the league chase exciting.
