Faf to use wealth of experience for SA20: 'I'm grateful to have learned from so many greats'

Former Proteas batter Faf du Plessis says that the SA20 will play a crucial impact on South African cricket for next year's T20 League.

Du Plessis will once again don yellow and lead the Joburg Super Kings (JSK) in the SA20, scheduled to begin in January-February next year.

The Johannesburg team is owned Chennai Super Kings Sports Limited, the owners of Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

The Super Kings have already confirmed a string of players expected to take part in their inaugural campaign, with Moeen Ali (England), Maheesh Theekshana (Sri Lanka), Romario Shepherd (West Indies) and Gerald Coetzee (South Africa) included.

The SA20's draft will take place on 19 September to fill out the six teams with 17 players, 10 of which will be local and seven international.

On match day, teams will follow the international standard of seven local and four foreign players format.
