Fabio Paratici's crucial Tottenham transfer moves to give Antonio Conte exactly what he wants

Time is quickly going to start to run out for all Premier League clubs as they look to conclude their summer dealings ahead of transfer deadline day. With September edging ever closer, the window closes for business at 11pm on Thursday, September 1.

Tottenham have been extremely active in the transfer market so far, bringing a total of six new players to the club well before the new term kicked off. Destiny Udogie also signed on the dotted line last week, but the Italy U21 international has returned to Udinese on a loan deal for the remainder of the season.

Things have also started to pick up in terms of outgoings recently, with Giovani Lo Celso and Tanguy Ndombele, both of whom were not in Antonio Conte's plans, joining Villarreal and Napoli on loan, respectively. More still has to be done regarding players heading out of the door, which in turn could then have an impact on more possible new arrivals in the capital.

Speaking to the media last Thursday as he previewed the Wolves game, Conte was asked about potential signings, and he made the club's stance perfectly clear.

"We're okay. But if someone goes away, for sure, another player has to come. Especially if some players want to go to play regularly, it's difficult to keep them here," explained the 53-year-old.

"But at the same time, it has to be very clear that if a player wants to go play, I have to replace this player. This is very important. We need to have a squad capable to face a lot of games until November. This is very important for me."
