Fabinho Was Left Visibly Stunned By Reporter's Burnley Question, His Answer Says It All

The Reds ran out 1-0 winners at Turf Moor thanks to Fabinho's effort in the first half and they've closed the gap on Premier League leaders Manchester City to nine points.

Burnley are currently bottom of the league and gave Liverpool a tough game, but Fabinho clearly wasn't worried about the lead slipping.

"They had a lot of chances today didn't they Burnley?" Fabinho was asked as he raised an eyebrow.

"Did they?" he replied before the reporter suggested they had three or four strong chances in the game.

Fabinho then admitted they had a 'couple' with a smile.

Fans have reacted to the interview and they think the Brazil international's reaction was perfect.

One commented: "Yes lad, that was the perfect answer."

Another said: "I love this guy he knew exactly what to say."

While a third put: "Fab knows ball why on earth would you ask him this?"

Most of Burnley's chances came from an offside position, as they attempted to get over Liverpool's high line.

He explained: "Rainy, windy. Men's football. Everything here was set up for a banana skin. Each ball in the air, so tricky to defend. The wind comes from all directions. We played the circumstances rather than suffer from it so I am really happy with that.

"They had their moments, that is clear. But we dealt with it well. What I liked most about it is how hard we worked for it.

"If we had come to play a bit of football, we may as well have stayed in the hotel. We came to work incredibly hard and that is what we did. I am really happy about it."
