Fabinho makes telling admission after Liverpool win against Man United

Fabinho demonstrated the high standards that the current Liverpool side hold themselves to with his message after Tuesday night’s 4-0 win over Manchester United.

The Reds took an early lead through Luis Diaz and dominated the game against their fierce rivals , as Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane also got on the scoresheet. It was a win that sent Liverpool back to the top of the Premier League table, with Manchester City in action against Brighton tonight.

Having won 5-0 in the reverse fixture at Old Trafford in October, the match showcased the gulf in class between the two sides as Jurgen Klopp’s side continued their efforts to win an unlikely quadruple. However, Fabinho still felt that Liverpool were not faultless against United.

“Now, we play just important games,” the Brazilian told Liverpoolfc.com , when discussing the club’s remaining fixtures. “Of course the three points is always important, but we want to play good football, we want to play our best football, to be on the highest level of intensity, play with quality on the ball because we have a lot of quality in this team.
