FA Vase Third Round draw: Lingfield v Deal Town, Farnham Town or Snodland Town v Burnham, Eastbourne United v Holmesdale, Athletic Newham v Erith Town

The draw has been made for the Third Round of the FA Vase.

Only four Southern Counties East League sides remain in the competition, albeit Snodland are yet to complete their Second Round tie with Farnham Town.

Deal Town, the 2000 FA Vase winners, have been drawn away to Lingfield, who defeated Southern Counties East Tunbridge Wells 1-0 on Sunday. Steve King’s Deal side recorded an impressive 4-1 win at Newhaven on Saturday.

Erith Town’s reward for a 2-0 home win over Peacehaven & Telscombe is a trip to Athletic Newham.

Holmesdale, who beat Haywards Heath on Saturday, will be on the road away to Eastbourne United.

Snodland’s trip to Farnham Town was abandoned after just 19 minutes on Saturday after an assistant referee picked up an injury. A new date for the game has yet to be announced. The winners will have home advantage against Burnham - who knocked out Glebe in a marathon Second Round penalty shoot-out.

Third Round ties are due to be played on Saturday, December 2.

Winners in the Third Round will pick up £1,125 from the prize fund while losing sides collect £350.
