FA Vase First Qualifying Round and Second Qualifying Round draw: Chislehurst Glebe and Faversham Strike Force paired together in FA Cup draw repeat

The draw has been made for the first two rounds of the FA Vase.

Holders Whitstable Town will not enter the competition until the second round, with fellow Southern Counties East League sides Erith & Belvedere and Tunbridge Wells also given exemptions.

There’s a couple of repeat ties from the FA Cup draw with Chislehurst Glebe and Faversham Strike Force again paired together. The First Qualifying Round tie will take place on Glebe’s new 3G pitch at Foxbury Avenue on August 23.

Corinthian have also been paired with Horley Town for the second time, although Keith McMahon’s side will have home advantage for the FA Vase clash at Gay Dawn Farm.

There’s a Medway derby as Premier Division Hollands & Blair host Division 1 Lordswood while Sheppey Sports have familiar opponents as they make the trip to Soul Tower Hamlets, who played in Southern Counties East last season but switched leagues after gaining promotion via the play-offs.

Winning sides will earn £550 in prize money with losing teams collecting £160.

The Second Qualifying Round sees SE Dons play their first FA Vase game. Based at Chatham this season it’s another Medway derby as they will visit the winners of Hollands & Blair and Lordswood on September 20.

Hythe Town, under new manager Ira Jackson, will entertain Athletic Newham while Staplehurst Monarchs are at home to either Knaphill or Shoreham.

Winning teams will pocket £725 in prize money at this stage with losing sides collecting £225.
