FA lays on 120 coaches for the FA Cup final so fans can beat rail strikes - but it'll cost you

The FA is laying on 120 coaches to help United and City fans get to the FA Cup final at Wembley next month.

No trains will run between Manchester and London on June 3 due to planned strikes by National Union of Rail, Maritime and Transport Workers (RMT) and train drivers’ union Aslef.

The strike has thrown into chaos fans' travel plans, prompting both clubs to lay on extra coaches to London for the first ever Manchester derby in a final.

The FA said spaces will only be available to supporters with a valid matchday ticket bought via their club. The price of a return ticket on the coach is £60 for adults and £55 for under 15s plus £1 booking fee.

The FA has also worked with Brent Council to provide a park and walk facility at Fryent Country Park to provide additional parking for fans driving to Wembley Stadium.

Tom Legg, head of external operations at The FA, said: "We look forward to welcoming a capacity crowd to Wembley Stadium for the Emirates FA Cup Final. We have worked closely with both clubs and travel operators to put in place alternative options for supporters coming to Wembley Stadium for the showpiece event of the season.

"We would urge anyone travelling to the game to plan their journey well in advance and to
