FA Cup semi-finals rules on VAR and replays explained before Man City and Manchester United ties

The FA Cup returns this weekend as Manchester City and Manchester United aiming to set up a Manchester derby in August's final.

Pep Guardiola's side face Championship opposition in Sheffield United on Saturday afternoon before Erik ten Hag and company meet Brighton and Hove Albion the following day. For City, it is a fifth straight FA Cup semi-final, but they have been on the losing side in their previous three, having not reached the final since last winning it in 2019.

United have not been in the final four since the 2019/20 season, lasting winning the competition during Louis van Gaal's last match as manager in 2016. Here is all the information you need to know before all the action begins.
