FA Cup Second Qualifying Round draw: Lordswood v Sittingbourne or Dover Athletic, Welling United v Chatham Town, Ashford United v Corinthian, Maidstone United v Hampton & Richmond, Ramsgate v Broadbridge Heath or Faversham Town

The draw has been made for the Second Qualifying Round of the FA Cup.

National League clubs enter the competition at this stage with Maidstone United - who reached the fifth round last season before being knocked out by Coventry - drawn against fellow National League South side Hampton & Richmond Borough.

There’s a Kent derby for Welling, who will entertain Chatham Town at Park View Road, while Tonbridge Angels have home advantage against Merstham.

Ramsgate beat Folkestone 3-1 on Saturday to reach this stage and their reward is a home tie against Broadbridge Heath or Faversham Town, who replay at Salters Lane on Tuesday night.

Southern Counties East Lordswood are at this stage for the first time in their history. Nicky Southall could come up against one of his former clubs if Dover win their replay against Sittingbourne but either way it will be a great tie for Lords.

Corinthian face an all-Kent affair as they travel to Danny Kedwell’s Ashford United while the winners of Tuesday’s replay between Larkfield & New Hythe and Cray Wanderers have been drawn at home to Wingate & Finchley.

Sheppey will have another home tie if they win their midweek replay at Hanwell Town, with Chertsey Town awaiting the winners.

Ady Pennock’s Dartford also have another home tie, against either Dulwich Hamlet or Leatherhead, while Steve McKimm’s Cray Valley host Chesham United.

There’s a home tie for Herne Bay against Hendon while Margate will visit Bognor Regis if they win their replay against Hayes & Yeading United.

Ties are due to be played on Saturday, September 14 with winning clubs in the second qualifying round will earn £3,375 in prize money, with losing sides collecting £1,125.
