FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round draw and Preliminary Round draw: Lee Martin at Whitstable Town and Steve Watt at Faversham Town handed home starts

The draw has been made for the opening two rounds of the FA Cup.

New Whitstable Town boss Lee Martin’s first game in charge will be at home to Roffey on Saturday, August 8.

Steve Watt’s first game in charge of Faversham Town will be at home to Corinthian Casuals while Herne Bay will host Broadfields United.

Other Isthmian South East sides starting at the beginning of the Road to Wembley include newly-promoted Punjab United at home to Seaford Town.

Deal Town face a Kent derby at home to Southern Counties East side Sutton Athletic while Ashford United face a trip to Redhill.

There’s a testing Kent derby for Sheppey United as they have been drawn away to Kennington. Another derby sees Faversham Strike Force drawn at home to Snodland Town.

Two FA Cup debutants are both drawn away with SE Dons at Lancing and AFC Greenwich Borough away to Broadbridge Heath.

Larkfield & New Hythe are away to Midhurst & Easebourne with Tunbridge Wells at Godalming Town.

The remaining Isthmian South East sides come in at the Preliminary Round stage on August 22 with Cray Valley at home to either Broadbridge Heath or AFC Greenwich Borough.

Margate, under the charge of Jamie Coyle, will make the trip to Horsham YM or Peacehaven & Telscombe while Sittingbourne will travel to the winners of Erith & Belvedere v Billingshurst.

Prize money in the Extra Preliminary Round is £1,125 for winning teams with losing sides collecting £375. Winning teams in the Preliminary Round collect £1,444 with losing sides collecting £481.
