F1 drivers Verstappen, Leclerc, Sainz & Perez reacting to impressionist
The camaraderie amongst Formula 1 drivers is often interesting to see, with the rivalry between teams on the track often not carrying on off of it.
This video is a perfect example of that.
Pretty much everyone on social media will have seen Conor Moore impersonating their favourite sportsperson or celebrity, and recently, he has been doing very well when it comes to F1. His latest video even had the drivers themselves laughing about it.
Both Red Bull drivers and both Ferrari drivers are embroiled in a fierce battle for the Constructors’ Championship as well as the Drivers’ Championship. That being said, they are laughing along together in the pit as Moore, very accurately, impersonates them.
First up it is Sergio ‘Checo’ Perez and the easy gag of him being the number two driver is utilised. Not only does he do a great job at the Mexican’s voice, but the interview also gets interrupted with Max Verstappen taking priority in this too, as he does with everything else.
Next up it was indeed the Dutchman; the reigning champion of the sport. He is known to get hot under the collar from time to time, especially in times of high pressure, and Moore really takes that to the extreme.
He goes off on an explicit tirade after being unable to open a can of drink, a gimmick which is again greeted by laughs from the four F1 stars.
Finally it is the Spaniard Carlos Sainz, with his Ferrari teammate Charles Leclerc not appearing in this clip, much to his delight.
When it comes to Sainz’s voice, this might be Moore’s best impression with even Carlos himself being taken aback by how much it sounds like him.
