F1 Constructors’ Championship 2022: Latest standings and results after Bahrain Grand Prix
Ferrari stormed into a commanding lead in the 2022 Formula One Constructors’ Championship with a perfect one-two in the Bahrain Grand Prix.
Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz secured a one-two on Sunday after a stunning finish, which left both Red Bull cars out of the race.
The miserable end to the weekend for world champion Max Verstappen left his team without a single point, having also lost Sergio Perez late on due to suspected fuel issues.
Mercedes gobbled up a useful haul in third and fourth, for Lewis Hamilton and George Russell respectively.
Haas and Alfa Romeo can also look back gladly on the season opener, although the same cannot be said for McLaren or Aston Martin.
