F1 22 Update 1.09: Everything we know so far
The F1 22 Update 1.09 should be rolling out very soon – here’s everything we know so far about it.
F1 22 has been out for around a month and a half now, following its release on the 28th of June 2022. Since then we’ve had a few updates that have ironed out some of the initial bugs in the game, whilst also implementing new tracks and various other features.
Despite some initial teething issues – the game has been a roaring success. Players are transported right into the heart of the action and are allowed to play as their favourite drivers such as Lewis Hamilton, Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc in what is one of the most realistic racing games ever.
The last patch update was 1.08 and included the following:
Please note that this update will apply to all current and existing saves.
After this patch, please anticipate an average decrease in Career difficulty by five. You may need to alter your save game settings for the best experience.

Unfortunately at this moment in time, we do not have an official release date for F1 22 1.09.
However – we will be updating this page regularly and when information is released, it will be right here. So keep checking back.
Judging from previous patches, we can expect a variety of things in the new update.
There will obviously be the usual minor tweaks and alterations, but we’ve even seen new tracks in the past come as part of an update – with Portimao added in update 1.07.
It is great to see EA consistently updating the game to make it the best user experience possible. Are you
