F1 22: Codemasters investigates AI straight-line speed issues following update 1.06

Imagine being able to change the driver’s eyes in F1 22, well turns out it’s possible with the latest F1 22 1.06 update.

Players have been vocal about how the overpowering AI has ruined the game since F1 22 arrived in late June. Even on lesser difficulty levels, AI opponents are simply too quick on straights, making it hard to catch up.

It’s so obvious that even Codemasters has been called out on it on courses with slow bends that lead to fast open roads.

Issues like this have made F1 22 so hard to play in single-player mode. Let’s find out more about how Codemasters is planning to remedy this.

Weeks after launch, the AI straight-line speed problem has still not been resolved despite repeated reports from players. Codemasters responds on social media by stating that it is “investigating difficulties with AI on the straights” in order to come up with a fix.
