F1 2022: Will F1 22 support VR?

F1 2022 is set to come out later this year and there have been plenty of features revealed so far ahead of the July 1 2022 release date, but is the game set to include VR support?

The next version of Codemasters’ epic racing sim is coming out amid the current season of real-life F1.

There, of course, Charles Leclerc is leading the standings while racing for Ferrari, and he is set to be one of the men on the cover of the Standard Edition of the game.

F1 22 is set to release on a variety of platforms, including PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One.

There are a variety of new features, and it appears to be a truly next generation racing game.

But the question remains: Is F1 22 going to have VR support, so you can get behind the wheel of the car and feel like you’re actually on the track?

Of course, PlayStation VR is its own standalone system, while the PSVR 2 remains in development.

But it does not appear that F1 2022 will be getting VR support on Sony’s system.

That’s according to the game’s Senior Creative Director, Lee Mather, who said, again per TechRadar: “We’ve been investigating VR for some time and we want to bring it to our F1 game without compromise.

“We have partnered with a team who has worked on other Codemasters’ titles and it has taken several years to get us to this point where we know we can deliver a premium experience
