F1 2022: Who is on the cover?

Codemasters have revealed the box art for their upcoming racer F1 2022, and it includes a variety of well-known names.

Of course, the 2022 season is already well underway, with the most recent race taking place in Miami in the USA.

Red Bull’s Max Verstappen managed to win the race, holding off a late challenge from Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc.

It was a thrilling end to the race, as a safety car allowed the two to essentially duke it out throughout the final few laps.

And both men are going to be on a version of the F1 2022 cover.

There are going to be two covers for F1 2022 when it does finally release later this year on July 1st.

Codemasters and EA Sports has confirmed that there will be a Standard Edition as well as a Champions Edition, at two separate price points, and both games will feature different covers, with different F1 drivers on the box.

On the Standard Edition, EA and Codemasters have put their trust in the future of Formula One.

There are three men on the cover and they are all up and coming drivers who appear poised for lengthy careers at the very top of thesport.

Leclerc is front and centre, which makes sense, given that he is currently enjoying an astonishing season and leads the Drivers’ Championship.

Also on the cover is Lando Norris, who drives for McLaren and has thus far achieved six podiums, as well as one pole position. He hasn’t yet won a race, although he did come second in the Italian Grand Prix in 2021.

And rounding off the trio is George Russell, who has recently signed for Mercedes, and is now Lewis Hamilton’s team-mate.

He has a similar record to Norris, having taken two podiums, and his best finish came at the Belgian Grand Prix in 2021, when he finished second.
