F1 2022 Champions Edition: What do you get for your money?

F1 2022 is set to release on July 1st, and we now know exactly what will be included in the Champions Edition of the game.

Of course, the current season is well underway and Max Verstappen emerged triumphant in Miami, in the most recent race of the season.

Charles Leclerc remains clear at the top of the standings when it comes to the Drivers Championship.

But soon enough, players will be able to try to dethrone him, getting to the top of the standings themselves in F1 2022.

EA Sports have published the differences between F1 2022’s Standard Edition and F1 2022’s Championship Edition on their official website so we’ve had a look at what you’ll get for your money in the latter.

Of course, you’ll have to pay a little bit more to gain access to the Championship Edition; is it worth it?

The Champions Edition of F1 2022 will cost you £79.99, although you can save 10% if you’re a member of EA Play, the EA subscription service. That would make it £71.99, which is a small, but worthy, saving.

Here’s what you get for your money.

By comparison, the Standard Edition only includes the base game, the F1 22 New Era Content, the F1 Life Starter Pack and 5,000 PitCoin.

It’s a significant upgrade over the Standard Edition, perhaps explaining why it’s £20 more than the base £59.99 for the PS4 Standard Edition. On PS5, that edition costs £69.99.

Which edition will you be buying when it finally hits stores later this year?
