Young people are being offered an experience of a lifetime thanks to an educational programme in Manchester.

Next Gen Man City aims to connect the next generation of leaders with the sports industry and give them their first experience of what a future career in the sector could look like.

This unique summer residential programme takes students inside the world of Premier League champions, Manchester City, and offers a hands-on immersion into the business of sport.

Open to 14 to 17-year-olds, it is the perfect experience for anyone planning on attending university or seeking a career in the sports industry.

The programme is returning to Manchester from July 13 to August 1, 2025, and will invite great opportunities for young people to make new connections and gain new learnings to apply to future environments.

Next Gen Man City's learning framework is designed to enhance both business and personal development.

Expert course leaders will guide students through modules, with each extensive one-week schedule using interactive workshops and group activities to bring programme topics to life.

New for 2025, Next Gen Man City is offering three unique modules to study – 'Athlete Management and Development', 'Marketing and Business', and 'Media and Content Creation'.

Students will experience the sports industry first-hand, receiving unique behind-the-scenes access and meeting innovative experts across a wide range of industry topics.

They will also learn the career opportunities available within the industry, start developing their network, and build the skill sets they need to become leaders in business and sports.
