Ex-Man City star set to meet Conte over shock move to Tottenham

Former Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez has been linked with a surprise move to reunite with Antonio Conte at Spurs.

The Argentinian is without a club at present, having left Boca Juniors in the summer.

Tevez is now 38 and despite being without a club for so long, has never officially announced his retirement from football.

It would now appear that he could be making a shock move back to the Premier League, to join Conte’s Spurs.

That’s according to Corriere dello Sport (via The Sun), who have revealed that the forward is set to arrive at Tottenham’s training ground next week to meet his former boss.

Tevez and Conte previously worked together at Juventus during the 2013-14 season.

However, Spurs are not to only club that are set to meet with the former Manchester United and Manchester City man, as he has already visited AC Milan, Inter and Juventus.

Elsewhere, Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has urged his teammates to enjoy their quest for an unprecedented quadruple. 

Speaking to Liverpoolfc.com, Salah said: “We’ve never done four before. This season we are really close and we are in top form.

“We’ve won the last 10 games in the Premier League so we are in a good way, and hopefully we can win the next game.

“We look at this situation now and we just have to enjoy it. We can’t be in this situation and feel pressure. We just have to enjoy it and go for everything.”

“They are a point ahead and play at home. I think that gives them more of an advantage.
