Ex-Hibs and Motherwell kids sign for East Kilbride's Lowland League promotion bid
East Kilbride have made a double signing swoop to snatch up two former Scottish Premier League starlets as they target another Lowland League promotion bid.
Ex-Motherwell midfielder Jack Leitch and former Hibs kid Jordan McGregor have signed up for the coming season, having both left Stirling Albion at the end of their contracts.
Leitch, 28, is the son of former Motherwell captain Scott, and also played for Airdrie, before joining Peterhead for three years, and Stirling for the last four.
McGregor, 27, came through the ranks at Easter Road and had spells at Hamilton Accies and Airdrie, before joining Aberdeen reserves and moving on to Stirling Albion, where he had been for the last five years.
The moves come after young midfielder Kai Montagu joined Championship side Raith Rovers on a two-year deal, while Rico de Marco and Joe Sexton will permanently join West of Scotland Premier League club Shotts Bon Accord.
