High street health and beauty retailer Boots are launching a range of skincare that aims to help people going through the menopause. Their popular own brand No7 will be releasing four products as part of their Menopause Skincare collection, with prices starting from £14.95.

What’s more, is that Manchester has had a major role in the development of the range, as the line of creams, serums and mists has been developed by No7 scientists following five years of research, using insights from its 20-year partnership with the University of Manchester.

Co-created with 7,000 menopausal women, the No7 Menopause Skincare Collection contains four products after looking into how and why the skin changes as we age, and how the skin changes during perimenopause and menopause.

Included in the new range is an Instant Radiance Serum, Protect & Hydrate Day Cream, Nourishing Overnight Cream and an Instant Cooling Mist that’s perfect for those uncomfortable hot flushes.

The range is designed to help skin behave as if oestrogen was still present and is ‘proven to target visual effects of collagen and lipid depletion in the skin’, targeting what perimenopausal and menopausal experience at this time in their life.

It contains ingredients that target ageing and dryness concerns, such as niacinamide and ceramides, soy isoflavones and Japanese lily turf.

Said to reduce visible redness, the Menopause Skincare range also helps with improving radiance, reducing dryness and sensitivity, reducing accelerated signs of ageing, and cooling hot skin.
