Erik ten Hag spoke to the press on Friday afternoon ahead of Manchester United's upcoming Premier League fixture against Arsenal.

United will be looking for a strong finish heading into the first international break of the campaign when they make the trip to London on Sunday, but they know they face an incredibly tough test against last season's runners-up.

Ten Hag was quizzed on United's deadline day plans as the club looks to complete a late deal for Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat. The United manager also confirmed that Sergio Reguilon was in Manchester and could make his debut this weekend.

There was also some more early team news ahead of the Arsenal match, with Rasmus Hojlund in contention to make his United debut at The Emirates this weekend. The Danish striker has even been declared fit enough to start the match.

The 20-year-old was not visible in training imagery and footage released by United this week, but he has trained with his new teammates and is in contention to make his debut at the Emirates Stadium.

Sergio Reguilon has already trained with his new Manchester United teammates and could make his debut against Arsenal on Sunday.

United have signed Reguilon on a season-long loan deal from Tottenham Hotspur and the left-back trained with his new teammates on Friday morning.

New goalkeeper Altay Bayindir has also been registered in time to travel with the squad.
