Everything about this interview with an 11-year-old Welsh boy is pure gold

A young boy from Ceredigion became the star of the show after a magnificent radio interview.

Tomos Lewis, also known as 'Tomos Bwlch', who is 11 and from Dihewyd near Aberaeron, was discussing Wales' upcoming Six Nations match in Twickenham with radio presenter, Ifan Jones Evans. During the BBC Radio Cymru interview, the young rugby player expressed his passion for the game, which he plays alongside his friends. He also revealed that he especially enjoyed what they would do after every match.

When asked by Ifan how his Aberaeron rugby team was getting along, Tomos answered, referring to some friends: "It's going really well, yes. We win a couple of games here and there. I'm a prop, I believe that Rhodri's a hooker and Morgan is a winger, and I don't know what Steffan is. We have a lot of fun. It can be rough and stuff... I haven't had one try, I'm not good enough. And after the game, I enjoy sausages and chips at the club."

Tomos then went on to reveal that his family were also avid supporters of the national team, especially his mum. The radio presenter could hardly contain his laughter as the young boy spoke about his mum and even suggested he should film her reaction during Saturday's game.

"Hopefully, [I'll watch it] right here at home," Tomos explained. "Mum will probably be blowing a gasket. She gets very excited, she screams and everything, she'll be flailing about. I am a lot cooler than my mum."

Tomos added that his brother Dyfan would probably be shouting at the TV as well, while his father, who is a farmer, would "sit quietly in the corner" or be on the tractors during the match.
