Every word Pep Guardiola said in press conference including Stones latest ahead of Man City vs Forest

Pep Guardiola has spoken to the press on Friday afternoon ahead of Manchester City's trip to Nottingham Forest.

City have a tough few weeks of away matches to come but they'll go into Saturday's game full of confidence after returning to form over the past week. The Blues were excellent as they defeated Aston Villa on Sunday and carried that performance into Wednesday's crucial clash with Arsenal.

It was a raucous atmosphere at the Emirates but City silenced the home fans with a combative and quality display as they weathered storms and were clinical when it mattered to come away 3-1 winners.

Kevin De Bruyne and Jack Grealish both scored in the win and they were hot topics in the press conference as well as an update on John Stones.

The Gunners could overtake City again before they kick-off against Forest as they face Villa in the early kick-off but City now know if they win all their games the title will be theirs.

Here's everything the manager said.

Still 15 games left a lot of games but we want to arrive at the last eight or 10 near the top of the league to make a last effort. We are in the position that I would have dreamed at the start of the season, I could not expect to be many points ahead after two titles it's nearly impossible.

We have been many years here, Manu arrive lately but when you are in the lockeroom you see things quickly. It's not necersary sometimes to tell them how we're doing, they know exactly who we are. They know they have to do better if they want to compete at the highest level this season. They talk to each other in the canteen and say they need to be better and it's good because in the end they play. They're the artists who work on the pitch, I can't be involved in that.
