Pep Guardiola spoke to the media ahead of Manchester City's next Premier League fixture on Monday at Crystal Palace.

In a change from his usual schedule, where pre-match press conferences take place on Friday, Guardiola will face questions from reporters on Thursday this week - four days before the Monday trip to Selhurst Park.

After City drew with Sporting on Wednesday night to confirm a quarter-final place in the Champions League, Guardiola says he couldn't confirm whether Joao Cancelo (illness) or Nathan Ake (injury) would be back in time to face Palace. With less than 24 hours since those comments, it's Guardiola couldn't give any further updates.

Guardiola offered his thoughts on Patrick Vieira's progress as Palace manager, as well as the need to record a victory given City are not in Premier League action for another three weeks after this game.
