Every single Quality Street flavour that's been axed as nostalgic sweet set to return in John Lewis and Waitrose tins

Quality Street fans across the country are set for a special treat as the brand annonces a comeback.

Nestle confirmed its bringing back the coffee cremes which was discontinued two decades ago from the iconic selection tins. However, there is a caveat to the return of the nostalgic confectionary.

Chocolate lovers will one be able to find the snack inside Quality Street's festive crackers and advent calendars, which will be available in Waitrose and John Lewis stores from September 20. It comes after Nestle polled fans to see which retro sweer they would like to see return the most, the Mirror reports.

A statement on the company's website reads: "We asked - and the nation has spoken. The favourite retro Quality Street sweet is…the coffee crème. It may have been out of our tubs and tins for more than 20 years, but the coffee crème has not been forgotten.

"Not only does it have a Facebook group dedicated to its return, but Nestlé receives more enquiries about the coffee crème than any other discontinued Quality Street variety. Now its status has been cemented after it topped our poll of most-loved throwback sweets. Receiving more votes than the bottom three varieties combined, only the Almond Octagon mounted a serious challenge to the coffee-flavoured favourite."
