The pressure is ramping up on Philippe Clement - but the Rangers fans are sick of hearing the excuses of the manager.

Defeat to Aberdeen leaves the club not only trailing Celtic by nine points but also Jimmy Thelin's side with the Light Blues already appearing to be frozen out of the Scottish Premiership title race by their rivals. But the Belgian boss remains undeterred having thrown out a host of reasons and stat bombs to justify difficult moments during his Ibrox tenure.

The boss has claimed the League Cup since his arrival in Govan - but off the back of falling apart in the midst of the title race last season and the sluggish start to the season Clement will have to hope one of his excuses lands with escalating calls to show him the door. Injuries have plagued the manager's year at the helm at Ibrox - and he has thrown that out as an excuse for a slump in form.
