Every FC & KR player currently free to speak to rival clubs about 2023 transfer

May 1st has arrived and with that, transfer activity is about to pick up. The recruitment window is open and all players who are off-contract at the end of the season are now available to discuss contracts with rival clubs with a view to 2023.

It makes for interesting times for both Hull FC and Hull KR. Both clubs have a considerable number of players off-contract, as well as players who are high earners. Clubs have plenty to consider as they look to stay under the salary cap and that will be a consideration as the pair look to mould their squads ahead of 2023.

The Robins have a massive 15 players off-contract, with six of their seven quota players among them. With a new coach coming in, the next person in charge certainly has the ability to freshen up the squad and put their own stamp on the roster ahead of their arrival.

It is slightly less hectic at the MKM Stadium, where ten players are in their final year. Three of them are quota players and among them are several senior players such as Luke Gale, Josh Reynolds and Manu Ma'u.
