Everton vs Boreham Wood: Prediction, kick off time, TV, live stream, team news, h2h results - FA Cup preview

Boreham Wood will attempt to do the impossible once again when travelling to Premier League stalwarts Everton in the FA Cup.

As the only non-league side left in the competition, the thought of a quarter-final berth being just 90 minutes away only serves to underline the stunning achievement of Luke Garrard’s side.

While fighting for National League promotion, the Wood have downed Eastleigh, St Albans, AFC Wimbledon and Bournemouth in their dream run so far.

Next up are Everton, who under Frank Lampard know that anything but a comfortable victory will be seen as a failure in front of their own fans.

Here is everything you need to know ahead of the game...

Everton vs Boreham Wood is scheduled for an 8.15pm GMT kick-off on Thursday, March 3, 2022.

Goodison Park in Liverpool will host the match.

TV channel: The match will be televised on ITV, with coverage beginning at 7.30pm

Live stream: ITV will show the match online via their ITV Hub app and website.

Frank Lampard will have to make do without the bulk of his January signings as Dele Alli, Anwar El Ghazi and Donny van de Beek are all cup-tied.

The match is expected to come too soon for injured striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin, with the Toffees also missing Yerry Mina, Fabian Delph, Ben Godfrey and Tom Davies.

The visitors’ captain Mark Ricketts was taken out for the weekend win over Eastleigh, if he returns it could be alongside first-choice goalkeeper Nathan Ashmore and defender Kane Smith.

Even if Boreham Wood’s FA Cup run had come to an end a round earlier, it would still have been a fairytale. Alas, Goodison Park should prove one step too far for the plucky non-leaguers.

Everton to win, 3-0.

This is the first competitive meeting between the two teams.
