Everton offer two-cap England man £120,000-a-week contract with Newcastle, West Ham also keen

Everton have offered a £120,000-a-week contract to Burnley defender James Tarkowski, according to reports.

The 29-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season and is very likely to leave Turf Moor following their relegation to the Championship.

The former Oldham Athletic man has made 219 appearances for the Clarets and has two England caps to his name.

And now Football Insider have claimed that Everton have offered the centre-half a contract worth a whopping £120,000 per week.

West Ham are still ‘monitoring his situation’ closely while he remains a ‘top target’ for Newcastle.

Burnley opted not to cash in on Tarkowski as they attempted to avoid the drop this season, but were unsuccessful in doing so.

The two-time England man could follow in the footsteps of Michael Keane, who swapped Turf Moor for Goodison Park in a deal worth over £25m in 2017.
