Everton look to sign Tottenham's Harry Winks but may have to loan him
Everton are interested in a deal for Tottenham midfielder Harry Winks but budget restrictions means they may want to take him on an initial loan.
Midfielder Fabian Delph is expected to leave next month once his contract expires.
Winks played 19 games in the league for Tottenham as they scraped into the Champions League with a fourth place finish.
The 26-year-old has made 10 appearances for England but most recent cap came in 2020.
A move to Merseyside would see Winks linking up with his old Spurs colleague Dele Alli.
According to reports in The Telegraph, Frank Lampard has a long list of targets to help Everton avoid another relegation scrap including Chelsea starlets Conor Gallagher and Billy Gilmour.
The Toffees had a tough season last year and only ensured their Premier League survival in the penultimate game.
Everton have also enquired about Hull City winger Keane Lewis-Potter who has attracted interest from West Ham.
A bigger part of the club's transfer dilemma may be hanging on to players, as star forward Richarlison's future appears uncertain.
