Everton: Lampard 'still interested' in bringing £76.5m duo to Goodison Park

Everton are still interested in signing Chelsea duo Armando Broja and Conor Gallagher this summer, says transfer insider Dean Jones.

Broja and Gallagher, who are valued at £76.5m combined by the CIES Football Observatory, have both been linked with moves to Goodison Park, though Jones expects the former to be the much more attainable target.

According to the Daily Mail, there is a race right now for Broja’s signature, with West Ham, Newcastle United and Everton all involved.

The young striker has caught the attention of the aforementioned clubs after his loan spell with Southampton during the 2021/22 season, where he scored nine goals in all competitions.

Gallagher’s temporary stint at Crystal Palace did not go under the radar either, as the Daily Star claims that West Ham and Everton want the England international as well.

Toffees manager Frank Lampard, though, will be hoping his Chelsea connections can give him an advantage, something Jones has spoken about before with regards to Broja.

Jones has told GIVEMESPORT that Everton remain interested in the Chelsea pair, with Broja likely to be on the market this summer.

Speaking to GMS, the transfer insider said: “There’s no actual change since the end of the season, but they’re still interested. I think there’s, to be honest, a certain expectation that these players that were on loan last season won’t actually make the cut at Chelsea.

“Gallagher’s got the best chance, but we have to wait and see how much of an opportunity he actually gets in pre-season and whether he can convince [Thomas] Tuchel to stay in and around that squad, but Broja is more than likely to be on the market and
