Everton: Lampard now 'happy to sell' £100k-a-week star at Goodison Park
Everton are ‘happy’ to offload Dele Alli and the central midfielder is assessing his options after slumping into another poor run of form at Goodison Park, according to transfer insider Dean Jones.
Back-to-back defeats against Chelsea and Aston Villa means the Toffees’ will go into Saturday’s home clash with Nottingham Forest pointless, but they could sanction a departure before the newly-promoted outfit head to Merseyside.
According to Sky Sports, Alli is in talks with Turkish giants Besiktas over a potential move away from the Premier League.
The report suggests a loan or permanent switch could be negotiated depending on how discussions over the 37-cap England international progress.
It is understood that Besiktas are pushing hard to secure Alli’s services, but the 26-year-old is still mulling over whether a move to Turkey is of interest.
Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Everton are allowing the former Milton Keynes Dons man to decide whether to complete the switch as he is desperate to secure more game-time.
Although Alli joined Frank Lampard’s side on an initial free transfer from Tottenham Hotspur in January, they would have to part with up to £40million if certain performance bonuses were met.
Jones understands that Everton are open to sanctioning Alli’s departure after failing to rediscover his best form.
The transfer insider believes the Toffees ace, who is on a contract worth £100,000-per-week, is weighing up his options as Besiktas are not the only club to have put a proposal forward.
Jones told GIVEMESPORT: “Dele was winning Lampard over early in pre-season, but his form has drifted again and they are happy to let him go now.
“He is open-minded about the Turkey offer, but that’s not the only
