Everton: Frank Lampard could lure £50m sensation to Goodison Park

Everton could look to lure Newcastle United winger Allan Saint-Maximin to Goodison Park if Frank Lampard succeeds in keeping the Toffees in the Premier League, according to Daily Star journalist Paul Brown.

Lampard was appointed as the Merseyside outfit’s manager on deadline day of the January transfer window, but it appears he has already identified targets ahead of potentially splashing the cash in the summer.

According to 90min, Everton are keeping tabs on Saint-Maximin’s situation after it has become clear that Newcastle are open to the Frenchman moving onto pastures new.

The report suggests the Toffees will only be able to strengthen their interest if they stave off relegation to the Championship, but they are not Saint-Maximin’s only suitors as Wolverhampton Wanderers are also keen.

Aston Villa are another club monitoring developments, while it is understood that the 25-year-old’s current employers are seeking £50million for his services.
