Everton: 'Big-name' Toffees star 'almost certain' to leave Goodison Park

Everton are ‘almost certain’ to see one of their big-name stars leave Goodison Park during the summer window, according to transfer insider Dean Jones.

The Toffees are sitting precariously above the Premier League’s relegation zone, with three points being all that separates them from the bottom three.

According to Goal, Manchester United have set their sights on signing Richarlison as the Red Devils look to bolster their attacking options.

But Everton’s Premier League rivals are not the only side tracking the 32-cap Brazil international as the report suggests a switch to La Liga could be on the cards, with Real Madrid and Barcelona also understood to hold an interest.

Heading to the Santiago Bernabeu would result in Richarlison reuniting with former Toffees boss Carlo Ancelotti, who selected the frontman 59 times during his Goodison Park reign.

The Express have revealed Arsenal could look to make a cut-price move for Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who was linked with a £60million switch to West Ham United in January, if Everton fail to avoid relegation to Championship.

The report claims the Merseyside giants currently value the frontman at upwards of £70million.

He reckons clubs will look to pounce following the Toffees’ struggles this term.

Jones told GIVEMESPORT: “I think it’s almost certain that at least one big-name player will leave Everton at the end of the season.”
