Everton: £50m star 'willing to leave' Goodison Park

Everton star Richarlison has been trying to leave Goodison Park for the “last couple of transfer windows”, according to Daily Star journalist Paul Brown.

The Brazilian forward is being heavily linked with a move away from the Merseyside club, and Brown says he has been eyeing up an exit for a while now.

According to Football Insider, Richarlison has told his agent to find him a new team this summer.

It has not been a good season for Everton, who are currently caught up in a relegation battle, so it does not come as a shock to hear that the 24-year-old is now looking to move on.

Richarlison arrived at Everton from Watford in a £50m deal back in 2018 and could be set to join another Premier League club in a similar big-money transfer.

Brazilian outlet UOL recently claimed that Tottenham have made an approach for Richarlison, while GOAL has reported that Manchester United are also interested in the Toffees attacker.

Brown has told GIVEMESPORT that an Everton exit has been on Richarlison’s mind for some time.

Speaking to GMS, the Daily Star reporter said: “Richarlison, I’m pretty sure, has been willing to leave Everton for the last couple of windows.

“He’s certainly ambitious; he’s been playing a lot for Brazil. And you can see that if he wants to nail down a starting spot as Brazil’s No.9, he’s going to have to be playing regularly for a team that’s more successful than Everton right now – I can understand that.”
