Evangelos Marinakis makes transfer promise to Steve Cooper after Nottingham Forest promotion
Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis has said that he will provide ‘ammunition’ to manager Steve Cooper to be able to compete in the Premier League next season.
The Reds return to the Premier League for the first time in 23 years in August after success in the play-off final against Huddersfield Town on Sunday afternoon. Levi Colwill’s first half own goal was the decisive moment in the 1-0 win at Wembley Stadium.
Celebrations have taken place around Nottingham City centre today as fans and players embrace the achievements of the past 10 months. But attention will soon turn to preparations for the new season.
