Eurovision live updates as UK hosts grand final of the 2023 song contest

It's here! The Eurovision Song Contest 2023 grand final has arrived - and tonight, we will see talented singers and musicians from the 26 qualifying countries take to the stage and give their performances their all, as they compete to be crowned Eurovision champion.

The final on Saturday, May 13 will be broadcast live on TV channels across Europe and beyond and millions are expected to tune-in to watch the mesmerising - and whacky - performances. It's certainly not Eurovision without some quirky costume choices, bizarre dance routines and weird song lyrics, is it?

Earlier this week, we saw acts from 31 countries compete across two semi-finals and the top 10 acts from each semi-final sailed through to tonight's grand final. Their singers and dancers will perform the same song they performed during their semi-final - but to an even bigger audience at home. The entries from the Big Five countries (France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK all automatically qualify for the final each year) and the new entry from last year's winner, Ukraine, will also compete.
