European Championships: Irish in action on Day 4
It's day four of the European Athletics Championships with Rhasidat Adeleke and Sharlene Mawdsley in final action this evening.
The Team Ireland duo have already earned relay gold together at these championships but tonight there are individual medals at stake in the women's 400m final, with both having made their way through safely in Sunday's semi-final heats.
Also in action during the evening session will be Nicola Tuthill in the women's hammer throw final.
But first among the Irish in action today will be Phil Healy in the morning session, with the Cork native running in the round one heats of the women's 200m. If she navigates that successfully she will return for the semi-finals in the evening.
There will be two Irish in the men's 1500m later in the morning with Andrew Coscoran and Nick Griggs part of the field, before Louise Shanahan takes on the women's 800m.
And Thomas Barr, part of the aforementioned historic mixed relay success from Friday, will be in the 400m hurdle semi-finals towards the tail end of the morning session.
