Europa Conference League draw LIVE as Dundee United and Motherwell discover third round qualifying opponents

There's nothing quite like the anticipation of a European draw.

And on this Monday morning it's Dundee United and Motherwell fans waking up with that unique buzz.

Both clubs are in the hat for the Europa Conference League third round qualifying draw as they look to forge a path into the lucrative group stage.

The addition of a third UEFA tournament has come as welcome news for Scottish Premiership and Scotland's improved coefficient has landed two sides in the draw.

But there's much work to be done before either United or Well find themselves rubbing shoulders with some notable European names.

Motherwell are in at the second qualifying round and have a two-legged tie with Sligo Rovers coming up this week, but will discover their potential opponents ahead of the first leg kicking off.

United, meanwhile, are straight into round three after an impressive fourth-placed league finish last term.

There are tricky ties awaiting including potential trips to the Czech Republic, Israel, Norway or North Macedonia, among others, on the cards today.
