EuroMillions results LIVE: Lottery numbers for tonight - Tuesday, December 19

It's less than a week to go until Christmas and it could be a double celebration if you manage to win some cash in tonight's EuroMillions lottery.

Tonight there is a hefty jackpot of £34m to be won. While it's not quite as big as the record £201m up for grabs earlier this month, it's certainly a life-changing amount.

To be in a with a chance of winning tonight's prize you will need to match all five numbers and one lucky star. Even if you don't manage to match all the numbers there are still other chances of winning some cash with five numbers winning more than £13,500 and two numbers £2.50.

The Euromillions draw takes place at 8.45pm and the Thunderball draw takes place at around 8pm.

To play, you will need to pick up your lottery ticket before 7.30pm. And don't worry if you've missed your chance to play tonight, as you'll be able to buy a ticket for Friday's draw after the winning numbers are announced.

People living in nine countries can take part in the EuroMillions lottery - Ireland, Austria, Belgium, France, Luxembourg, Portugal, Spain, parts of Switzerland and the UK.
