Error-prone Stormers suffer heavy loss to unbeaten Leinster
The Stormers' error-strewn season continued with a heavy 36-12 loss to Leinster in Dublin on Saturday night.
The Capetonians went into the game with hopes of upsetting the apple cart as Leinster had a few star campaigners missing due to international duty.
But there's a reason why Leinster have won all 10 of their matches in the URC this season. Their strength in depth is remarkable. Springbok prop RG Snyman was superb for the hosts - he kept a couple of Stormers defenfers busy with his burly runs and classy offload game. French tighthead prop Rabah Slimani was another standout for Leinster as he gave the Stormers all sorts of trouble in the scrums.

It was a tightly-contested first half and the Stormers were right in it when winger Ben Loader scored at the 20-minute mark. Leinster's early 10-0 advantage had shrunk to 10-7 and Stormers fans would have held a glimmer of hope at that stage.
However, poor defence by the Stormers allowed Leinster hooker Dan Sheehan to score in the corner on the stroke of half-time.
That was a sucker punch for the visitors as changing sides trailing 15-7 felt a lost worse than being just three points down.

The Stormers also lost flyhalf Manie Libbok to a knee injury just before half-time which caused a major disruption as they had no recognised flyhalf on the bench. The Cape side had only centre Wandisile Simelane and scrumhalf Herschel Jantjies as backline reserves, with midfielder Jonathan Roche eventually forced to step in at No 10.
