Erling Haaland has won the Player of the Month award for August 2022! But how could his SBC card look in FIFA 23?

Erling Haaland is inevitable. The Norwegian powerhouse has been nothing short of immense since he joined Manchester City from Borussia Dortmund in the summer. The 22-year-old has taken the league by storm and it’s really no surprise to see him scoop up the POTM award for August really.

His 10 goals in as little as six Premier League matches already see him sit comfortably at the top of the goalscoring charts, and many dare to think what sort of numbers the striker could obtain by the end of the season.

Acquiring the Premier League POTM award also means you are rewarded with a special SBC in FIFA which has increased attributes on the card and subsequently in-game.

Haaland will be the first Premier League POTM option for FIFA 23 and will no doubt be one of the first high-profile SBCs featured within the game, meaning plenty will be desperate to get their hands on him.

POTM cards usually obtain a plus one upgrade for the higher-rated cards, and considering it’ll be released at the very beginning of FIFA 23 – this will most likely be the case.

We received confirmation of Erling Haaland’s base card rating recently after the Top 25 Premier League players in the game were released, so we know that this card will most likely be 89-rated.
