Erling Haaland tipped for record-breaking season after completing Man City transfer

The anticipation is already building for Erling Haaland’s arrival in the Premier League, having had his transfer to Manchester City confirmed ahead of the summer.

Haaland is set to become a City player after the Blues reached an agreement with Borussia Dortmund to secure one of the hottest properties in world football. The Manchester Evening News understands Haaland has been picked up for around £51million, around £13m cheaper than the £64m release fee that has been widely touted.

Haaland has already established himself as one of the world’s top strikers, having put together a remarkable record first at RB Salzburg and then Dortmund. All eyes will now be on whether he can continue those exploits at the Etihad – here are some of the feats he’s being tipped for upon his move to City.

If there’s one thing that Haaland should definitely bring with him, it’s goals. The Norwegian has an unbelievable record over the years, having continued his exploits after catching the eye at RB Salzburg with 85 goals from 89 appearances during his time in Germany.

Unsurprisingly then, the 21-year-old is being widely tipped to finish his first season in the Premier League as top scorer. You can get him at 4/1 with Coral, 7/2 with Paddy Power, 5/1 with Sky Bet, and 11/4 with Betfair.
