Erling Haaland is an absolute machine and just eight games into his Premier League career, the Norwegian marksman is already setting records which seem unfathomable.

This weekend showed he can do it on the big stage, playing in his first Manchester Derby, bagging a hat-trick and setting two more up for Phil Foden.

With just eight games played, Haaland’s start to the season can be described as ludicrously immense, nothing less.

So far this season, he has 14 goals in his eight outings, including three hat-tricks which just makes his achievement even more mind boggling.

Not many would be able to achieve what Haaland has in a season, let along in single figure games, already he is just nine goals off the tally of the Golden Boot winner last season, with 30 games to go, that record is surely about to be smashed.

Some doubted how Haaland would adapt to his new surroundings, but he has certainly silenced those emphatically already.

Rory Jennings was one of those who was incredibly vocal in slamming Haaland, making no secret of what can only be described as his major doubts on the forward.

Appearing on Saturday Social, he said: “Erling Haaland will not live up to the expectation, I am so bored. He isn’t the player he thinks he is, people are saying he’s going to win the Golden Boot, that is outrageous.

“It is so disrespectful to the establishment, it is so disrespectful to the establishment, the Mo Salah’s of the world, the Harry Kane’s of the world, the Son Heung-min’s of the world, give them the respect.
