In truth, 2022 hasn't been much better than 2021 or 2020.

Life isn't great for a depressingly large number of people right now.

The rest of 2022 promises to be an exciting one in the world of football, with a tight Premier League title race hotting up and a World Cup to look forward to in November.

The transfer window will be interesting too, with one man, in particular, dominating the headlines. Erling Haaland looks certain to leave Borussia Dortmund and Manchester City and Real Madrid are ready to fight for his signature.
