Cristiano Ronaldo has received a boost that bodes well for his future at Manchester United under new manager Erik ten Hag.
The 37-year-old has been tipped to leave leave Old Trafford following Ten Hag's appointment, which was confirmed on Thursday as the Ajax boss put pen to paper on a lucrative three-year contract until June 2025. Ronaldo, albeit scorer of 21 goals this season, is not getting any younger at the dawn of the Old Trafford rebuild, so pundits and supporters alike expect Ten Hag to attempt to jettison the five-time Ballon d'Or winner.
